Home-Going Celebration for Mr. Willie Allen, Jr. will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. in the Second Baptist Church, 800 North Decatur Street, Dublin, Ga. The Rev. Dr. R. L. Cason will officiate and interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Willie Allen, Jr. was born December 8, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia to the parentage of Willie and Eula Mae “Candy“ Allen and departed this life on Monday October 3, 2019 in Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Willie , affectionately referred to as, “JR” by his wife and Junior to his family and friends was a hard-working industrial skilled man who enjoyed his family, life and fishing. Mr. Allen leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Bernita Allen, daughters, Nikia Allen, Belinda Henderson, both of Dublin, Ga. and Vivian Carey, Macon, Ga., sons, Reginal (Wanda) Allen, Marietta, Ga., Charles Allen, Jessie Spikes and Herman Moore, all of Macon, Ga., David (Yonika) Whipple and Reginald Whipple ,Dublin, Ga., and Vivian Carey, Macon, Ga., A devoted grandson, David Folsom, Jr; Valashjah Steward, Braylen Lewis, and Dominique Lewis, whom he raised as his own children, sisters, Evie Jean (Lester) Wright and Ada Mae (Lee) Wright of Dublin, Ga, Aunt Ethel Spikes, brother-in-law, Robert Spikes and sister-in-law, Dr. Agnes Cason, both of Dublin, Ga., sister-in-law, Annie Holmes, Miami, Fl. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Allen will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. Friends are being received at the family residence, 897 Campground Road, Dublin, Ga.
