Obituary
Private Memorial Services for Mr. William H. Tribbett, Jr. will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 in
The Chapel of Wyche’s Funeral Home. The Pastor Grady Brazeal will officiate.
William was born October 31, 1941 to the union of the late William H. Tribbett, Sr. and
Estella Stevenson Tribbett in Magnolia, Delaware and departed this life Sunday, June 14, 2020 in
the Shamrock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
William attended Mt. Olive School and the William Henry High School in Delaware. He worked for
eighteen(18) years at the General Motors Cooperation and retired from the Laurens County School System.
He was united in holy matrimony to the former Anne Marshall Waiters and 47 years of love keep them together until
he was called home to greet His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Tribbett was an Army Veteran.
William enjoyed being very active with his love for church, music, and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Byron Tribbett, Sr., William Tribbett, III, a daughter, Shirley Tribbett,
and a sister, Mabel Cherry.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, a loving wife, Mrs. Anne M. Tribbett, two brothers,
Earl (Mae) Tribbett, Dublin, Ga., Aubrey Stevenson, Dover, Delaware. Five sisters, Emma Scott, Bronx N. Y.,
Martha Hitchens, Magnolia, Delaware, Charlotte Brooks, Felton. Delaware. Patricia (Khalil) Tribbett, Khalil
Felton, Delaware, and Vanessa Covington, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews,
nieces, cousins and friends.
Friends are being received at the family residence, 182 Deerwood Trail, Dublin, Georgia.
Arrangements entrusted to Wyche’s Funeral Home.
