Pearline Davis

A Celebration of Life Service for Mother Pearline K. Davis will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Springfield Baptist Church, Chester, Georgia at 1:00 P. M. The Rev. Stefan Brown will officiate and burial will follow in the family plot in the Burch Cemetery. Mother Pearline (Miss Baby) Davis was born October 17, 1921 to the union of General Kirtz and Armorella Fullwood Kiirtz in Bleckley County, Georgia. She transition from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Fairview Park Hospital. At an early she joined the Springfield Baptist Church and loved attending other churches and singing in the choir. Leading songs was a great inspiration to her. Later in life she met and married Charlie Fred Davis (whom preceded her in death). Mother Davis loved baking cakes and working in her yard growing flowers. She worked many years in private homes and was loved by those she was employed by. Mother Davis was preceded in death by her son, George Davis, three grandchildren, Cynthia Davis, Regina Davis, Michael Davis and daughter-in-law, Marie Davis. Left to mourn her passing an cherish her memories, children, Charlie Fred Davis, III, Jamaica, N.Y., Thelma Mack, Dudley, Ga., Billy Davis (Joyce), Chester, Ga., Calvin Davis, Dublin, Ga., Sandra Godfrey (Walter), Chester, Ga., and Robert Davis, Chester, Ga., and a grand-daughter, Kimberly Kirtz, Locust Grove, Ga. (whom she reared as her own) a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
