Michael (Ricky) Denson

A Celebration of life services for Mr. Michael (Ricky) Denson was held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 in the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Dublin, Ga at 1:00 P. M. The Pastor Mack Jacson officiated. Michael Ricky Denson affectionately known as "Ricky" by his family and friends, but to his nieces and nephews he was Uncle Ricky or Woo Woo. Ricky peacefully departed to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Ricky was born on Wednesday, December 14, 1955 to the parentage of Leonard "Bo" Denson and Helen Jackson Denson. He attended school through the Dublin School System. At an early age he joined and attended Saint Paul A.M.E. church located in Dublin, Georgia. Later in life under the tutelage of Bruce Harrington, a local electrician who presented the opportunity to teach and to train Ricky in electrical wiring this led him to becoming an Electrician by trade. He mastered these skills through hard work and dedication. Over the years he was employed by several companies but eventually he began working for himself providing individuals with electrical wiring services. He performed these services until the decline in his health. Ricky will be greatly missed by us all. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Lucille Chapman Jackson, Paternal Grandmother, Sally Reed Denson, Father, Leonard "Bo" Denson, Mother, Helen Jackson Denson, Brother, Charles Holmes, Sister, Barbara Holmes Lewis, and Brother-in-Law, Fred Bowen. Ricky leaves to cherish his memories, Sisters: Shirley H. Lewis, Jr., Decatur, Ga., Mandel Denson, Athens, Ga., Brandon (Courtney) Denson, Snellville, Ga., Christopher (Melinda) Cooper, Lawrenceville, Ga., Nichoas Cooper, Lawrenceville, Ga., Tawaski (Ebony) Timmons, Dublin, Ga. and Jarrett Timmons, Dublin, Ga., Nieces; Monica L (Jose) Feque, Fairburn, Ga., Monque H.
