Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Marshall Hall will be held Saturday, August 06, 2016 at 2:30 P. M. in
the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Winfred L. McCloud will officiate and burial will follow in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Marshall Hall was born June 22, 1933 in Laurens County, Georgia to the union of Emmett Hall, Sr. and Letha Clay Hall. He joined the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church family at an early age.
Marshall attended Oconee High School and was drafted into the United States Army. After completing his term in service, over the years he worked as a Farmer, School Bus Driver, civilian employee at Robins Air Force Base and finally retiring as a mechanic from Mohawk Industries in 1998. Marshall was a self-taught automotive mechanic and was well recognized by many for his exceptional work.
Marshall was married to Mabel Strange 52 years before her death August 24, 2009. He was also preceded in death by his son, Edward Morris Hall; two sisters, Retha Mae Harris and Pauline Hall; five brothers, James Hall, Milledge Hall, Earl Hall, Napoleon Hall and Arthur Hall.
Those left to mourn his passing are one sister, Doretha Lofters of Griffin, GA; three sister-in-laws, Gladys Hall, Mildred J. Hall and Eva Jean Hall. Marshall also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Douglas Hall, Robert Hall, Royce Hall,
Jerome Hall, Reginald Hall and Thomas Harris will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. Funeral arrangements entrusted to
