Home-Going Grave-side Services for Mother Juanita S. Butts will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Robinson Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 811 Robinson Baptist Church Road, Dublin, Ga. at 1:00 P. M. The Rev. Roger Edwards will officiate and the interment will follow. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Mother Juanita Butts was born to the parentage of the Late Sylvia George (S.G.} and Willie Mae Cooper Smith on July 12, 1935. God received her into His royal palace on Saturday, September 26, 2020. She was educated in Laurens County, and started work at a very early age. Caretakers of others as her older relatives worked the fields. Soon she began her productive work in the cottonfields, she then moved to the M & M Packing Company where she worked for many years, and finally to the J.P. Stevens/Forstmanns Company; where she retired after 30 years of service. She was married to her loving and devoted husband, the late Mr. Hubert E. Butts, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; a son, Tony Evans, a grandson, Kermit R. D. Montford; Great-granddaughter, Brianca Montford, and her one and only sibling, Roosevelt Smith, Sr. She was baptized at Mt. Pullen A.M.E. Church and later served as a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church, Central Baptist Church for many years. She later moved her membership to serve with her husband at Robinson Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Butts was named as Mother of the Church and served faithfully. Mother Butts was known for diligent word search puzzles, fantastic meals, especially those delicious pound cakes. Cherishing her memory with continued love and adoration are her children: Charles Rozier, Willie (Melissa) Evans, Jr., Betty Montford, Trena Stuckey, all of East Dublin, Ga; and Janice Harris of Macon, Ga. Grandchildren: Calvin (Tammy) Rozier; Latarjah Foreman, Courtney Rozier, Britany Pauldo, Teena Montford, Yakia (Elteon} Bivens, Terrence (Monica} Evans, LaToya (Joshua} Coney, Navarro (Katrina} Evans, Terrell Evans, Tony (Ranada) Evans, Jr., Twyla Evans, Derrence (Brandy} Scott, Shonna Scott, Letitia (Demarcus} Render, Sr., Shareeta Evans, Brandon Jones, Courtney Thomas, Fre'Derick Thomas and Kerry Walker. 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her Nieces and Nephew: Vivian Smith Chappell, Lynette Swint, and Roosevelt Smith, Jr. She also leave her Brother and Sister- ln-laws: Herbert (Cecelia) Butts, Dublin, GA; James (Cornealus) Butts, Larry (Bessie} Butts, and Walter (Barbara) Butts, Algerine (Willie) McGirt, Martha Ross, and Patty (Marvin) Josey. Also a devoted cousin, Mildred (Clyde) Hill and friend, Gracie Pauldo. Along with many other cousins, other relative and friends.
