Curtis Knight

Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis Knight will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Scott’s Chapel Baptist Church, Wrightsville, Georgia at 3:00 o’clock P. M. The Pastor Tracy Wheeler will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Curtis Knight was born in Wrightsville, GA on May 24th, 1963 to Martha Thomas Knight and the late Ralph Knight Sr. He attended Johnson High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from American International University and was a full-time employee at Dodge State Prison as a Correctional Officer. Prior to that, he worked many years at Eastman YDC. During his life on this earth, Curtis spent quality time with his nieces and nephews. Most of them looked at him as a father figure. He is proceeded in death by J.M. Knight, Jennie Mae Knight, Earnest Lee Knight, Bobby Lee Knight and Michelle Knight. On August 19, 2018, Curtis fulfilled his purpose on Earth and was called home to serve a greater purpose for the LO RD. Some people who will remember and cherish who Curtis was, what he meant, and his legacy are: his Wife Jessica Knight of East Dublin, Ga, Step Children Jacoria Napier, Demarcus Napier, Mashawn Rumph, and Tremale Gaines and a special Son, D'Andre (Teria) Murray of Atlanta, GA, his Mother, Martha Knight, Brothers Ralph Knight Jr., Joshua Knight of Wrightsville, GA, Everett Knight of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sisters Mae (Huey Vanley) of Phoenix Arizona, Martha Qimmie) Winston of Bowie, Maryland, Rosetta Knight of Wrightsville, GA, Lorretta (Willie) Wright of East Dublin, GA: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and close acquaintances.
