Audrey Lorraine Harris

A Home-Going Celebration for Ms. Audrey Lorraine Harris will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel of Wyche’s Funeral Home. Rev. Yvonne Shinhoster Lamb will officiate. Audrey Lorraine Harris came into the world on September 2, 1964, born to proud parents of Hosie Harris and Yvonne Lamb Harris in Tampa, Fla. She began her education in Hillsborough County Public Schools. She went to Montverde Academy, where she played on the varsity volleyball team and the equestrian team. She also competed in gymnastics. She later moved to Dublin, GA, to live with her grandmother, Ethel Boyer. She graduated from West Laurens High School. She enjoyed a childhood filled with music, trips to her favorite places and family fun. She learned to play the piano at an early age. She took ballet, tap and jazz dance lessons at the Frank Rey Dance Theater in Tampa. She was baptized in Beulah Baptist Church in Tampa, under Rev. A. Leon Lowery. She graduated from Savannah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer technology. She worked at the campus radio station and especially enjoyed jazz. While in college, she acted with the Players By the Sea theatre group. Friends are being received at the family residence, 456 Valambrosia Road. Dublin, Ga.
