Home-Going graveside Celebration for Mrs. Annie Ruth Wright Pauldo will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in
The Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 o’clock P. M. Pastor W. Vincent White will officiate and
the interment will follow.
Annie Ruth, lovingly called “Rooster” by her family, was born on March 9, 1949 to her parents, the late Flanders and Gladys Stephens Wright, in Laurens County, GA. She was one of eight children. She departed this life on April 28, 2021 at the age of 72.
Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Sheldine Wright, John L. Wright, mother-in-law: Claree Harris Glover, father-in-law: Richard Pauldo, brothers-in-law: Aaron Pauldo, Jimmy Pauldo, Roy Guyton, sisters-in-law: Izora Pauldo, Cynthia Wright and nephew: Kenneth Guyton.
Annie Ruth joined Shady Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She served her church faithfully on many committees. She served as the Financial Secretary of the church until her death. Annie Ruth loved to sing in the choir, read and study the Bible.
Annie Ruth was educated in the Laurens County School System. She attended Millville High School and Heart of Georgia Technical College. She received her diploma in Business and Office Technology concentrating in Medical Office Specialist. She worked for many years in the apparel manufacturing industry. After obtaining her diploma from Heart of Georgia Technical College in 2001, she began a career as a Rehabilitation Assistant with the Georgia Department of Labor Vocational Rehabilitation Division until she retired in 2014.
Annie Ruth enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family. She was a loving and caring person. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Annie Ruth’s memories will be forever cherished by her husband of 52 years Prentice Pauldo, Children: Monica Collins, Gerald Pauldo, Twanda Pauldo, Chad Pauldo of Dublin, GA, Seven Grandchildren: Quenton Pooler, Chavis Jerrell Pauldo, M’Kaya Collins, Zayln Pauldo of Dublin, GA, Jessica (Timothy) McArthur of Korea, Jeremy Pauldo of Augusta, GA, Akeem Walker of Warner Robins, GA, Six Great Grandchildren: Julian McArthur, Quenton Pooler, Jr., Laylah Pooler of Atlanta, GA, Jaylee Stanley, Jordyn McArthur of Korea, Akeem Walker, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA. Siblings: Bobbie Guyton of Indianapolis, IN, Kathleen Coney, Betty (Walter) Thomas of Detroit, MI, Edna (Willie) Pauldo, Jestine (Charlie) Evans of Dublin, GA, Sister-in-Law: Leatha (Eddie) White of Miramar, Florida, Brothers-In-Law: C.D. Pauldo of Dublin, GA, Clarence Glover of Miami, FL, Bonus Sisters: Catherine (Virgil) Rozar, Ruby Mitchell, Elizabeth Harris of Dublin, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Friends are being received at the family residence, 103 Helen Drive, Dublin, Ga.
The family ask that social distance and COVID-19 precautions be adhered to.
