Nell Queen Smart, 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at her home in York.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Vassey officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church from 10 – 11 AM.
Nell was a daughter of the late Raymond Queen and Ethel Yarbourgh Queen. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by children; Gail Johnston (Charlie) of Richburg, SC, Judy Lester (Zack) of Rock Hill, SC, Michael Wayne Stewart of York, SC, Donna Wallace of York, SC, sisters; Elsie Eckard of Bullocks Creek, SC, and Margaret Darty of York, SC, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by her brother Bud Queen.
The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Jane Ann Ballew for her loving care and friendship to Nell and her family.
