Nancy Ranette Boyd Moore, 86, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Blaikie and Rev. Jim Correll officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
Nancy was a daughter of the late Clarence Lee Boyd Sr. and Nellie Robinson Boyd. She was retired as a clerk for the York County Council after 31 years. She was a faithful member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church where she was a choir member, deacon, and elder. She was the widow of Bill Moore.
Nancy is survived by her children, Jim Moore (Kathie) of McConnells, Evelyn Correll (Jim) of Lake Junaluska, NC, Clark Moore (Linda) of Mooresville, NC, brother Robert Terry Boyd of Ohio, 6 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Doris Lee Smith, Bonnie Eugene Boyd, Clarence Boyd, Jr., and Charles Mason “Boots” Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 4858 McConnells Hwy, York, SC 29745 or to the Tuberous Sclerosis Association, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 750, Silver Springs, MD, 20910.
