Monroe Lawson “Nick” Nichols, Jr., 81, of Taylors, SC passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
A private graveside service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Steve Curtis officiating.
Born in Boone, NC, Nick was the son of the late Monroe Lawson Nichols, Sr. and Mary Swenson Nichols. He worked as a salesman for National Steele and served in the United States Army.
Nick is survived by his former wife, Martha Jane Walker, sons, Mark Lawson Nichols (Karla), John David Nichols (Kimberly Lynn), sisters, Francis Agnew and Arlene Coles, and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriner’s Hospital at 950 West Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will receive friends at “Just One More” at 2714 Wade Hampton Blvd. Greenville, SC 29615 at 3pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
