Mitch Ptaszek Fort Mill -- Norris Mitchell "Mitch" Ptaszek, 70, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Prevaux officiating. Burial will be at Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 5 - 7 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Mitch was a son of the late Chester and Helen Klos Ptaszek. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and retired from the Teamsters Local 215 in Evansville, IN, and was a volunteer member of the Coast Guard Aux. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by wife Ann Farmer Ptaszek of Fort Mill, SC, brother Kenneth Ptaszek of McHenry, IL, daughter Deborah Ptaszek Flowers, spouse Steven Flowers of Richland, IN, son Steven Ptaszek, spouse Barbara Biggers Ptaszek of York, SC, daughter Cheryl Ptaszek Spragg, spouse Jim Spragg of Rock Hill, SC, six grandchildren, Curtis (Mallory) and Tiphani Flowers, Dustin and Ashlyn Ptaszek and Katelyn and Kaleb Spragg, and one great grandchild, Kenley Faith Flowers.
