Marshall Floyd “Mike” Stewart, Jr., 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Kings Mountain Chapel UMC with Will Hurst officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of son, Chris, 1037 Lawrence Road, Clover, SC.
Born July 26, 1951, Mike was a son of Mildred Hardin Stewart and the late Marshall Floyd Stewart, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Army, worked for many years at Black’s Tractor in York and was a truck driver by trade.
Mike is survived by his son William Christopher “Chris” Stewart (Molly), his two greatest gifts, his granddaughters, Taylor Stewart and Sophie Stewart, mother Mildred Stewart, brothers, Bruce Stewart (Terry), Steve Stewart, and sister, Elaine Howard (Butch).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kings Mountain Chapel UMC, 1130 Philbeck Rd., York, SC 29745 or to US Veterans Anonymous, 380 Pleasant St., Maiden, MA 02148.
