CLOVER -- Melvin "Buck" J. Mullis, 91, of Clover, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2015, at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Emily Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York, and other times at the home of Melvin and Debbie Mullis, 2780 Kingsburry Road, Clover, SC.
Buck was born November 17, 1924 to the late Luther J. Mullis and Lois M. Mullis. He was a member of Philadelphia U.M.C. Buck was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII and for the South Carolina Army National Guard for 34 years. He also worked at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing for 29 years, and 11 years at York Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mandy B. Mullis, son, Melvin B. Mullis (Debbie), brother, Leon B. Mullis (Betty), step daughters, Kim B. Deal, Libby B. Robinson (Jimmy), grandchildren, Buddy Mullis (Betsy), Kimra M. Kirksey, step grandchildren, Jessica D. Culbertson (Tommy), Quentin B. Deal (Christina), Meredith A. Kitchin, Craig Robinson (Stephanie) and Jann M. Robinson, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sue M. Mullis, sisters, Ruth M. Conley and Bonnie M. Roberts.
