YORK -- Mary Shea Zimmer, 72, of York passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017, peacefully at her home.
The funeral mass will be at 9:30AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Divine Savior Catholic Church in York with Father Adilso Coehlo officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 6:30-8PM with a rosary at 6PM.
Mary was the daughter of the late George Shea and Anna McDonald Shea. She was the widow of Mr. William Henry Zimmer, Sr. and was a member of Divine Savior Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her son, William Henry Zimmer, Jr., his wife, Denise, daughters, Cathy Gibson, Elizabeth Strickland, her husband, Tim, brothers, Lawrence Shea, Robert Shea, sister, Clara Johnston, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers, George L. Shea, and sisters, Katherine Baldwin and Virginia Christy.
Memorials may be made to Divine Savior Catholic Church at 232 Herndon Ave. York, SC 29745 and to Providence Care at 1736 Old York Rd. York, SC 29745.
