Mary Young CLOVER Mary Helen Ogden Young, 81, of 730 Sweet Meadow Lane died Wednesday, February 01, 2012, at Yorktowne Village Assisted Living in York. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Union Road Church of God in Gastonia with the Revs. Lane Lavender and Paul Collins officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont. Mary was a daughter of the late Rev. W.T. and Lula Culpepper Ogden. She was an Executive Secretary and Bookkeeper and was a member of Union Road Church of God and served as the church secretary for 11 years. She is survived by son, Darryl "Casey" Young of Clover, five brothers, James Ogden of Gastonia, Billy Ogden, Donald Ogden, and Roy Ogden all of Clover, Vern Ogden of Middlesex, NC, and sister Grace Ogden Carver of Belmont. Visitation will be held at Union Road Church of God on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10-11 AM. Memorials may be made to Union Road Church of God, 2315 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
