YORK -- Mary Harper Galyan, 77, of 1658 Garvin Road passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015, at her home in York.
A visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with a graveside service in the church cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Emily Sutton and Reverend Paul Ballard officiating.
A native of York, Mrs. Galyan was a daughter of the late Willis Thomas Harper and Adelle Garrison Harper. She was the widow of the late Boots Boyd and Don Galyan Sr. She retired from WIX and was a devoted member of Philadelphia U.M.C.
She is survived by sons, Charles Mason Boyd (Wanda) of York, Don Galyan Jr. (Cindy) of Gastonia, daughters, Molly Boyd of Gastonia, and Lou Ann Griffin (Donnie) of Bessemer City, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters Catherine Boyd and Bonnie Boyd, son Willis Galyan, brothers Grady Harper, Tom Harper, Lewis Harper, and sister Kathaleen Garvin.
