YORK -- Mary Loggins Benfield, 57, of 3034 Punk Black Rd died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 2 – 3 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church in York, and other times at the home of son Shane Benfield, 3808 S York St., Sharon, SC.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Vassey officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in York.
Mary was a daughter of the late Cola Loggins and Margaret Hall Wallace. She was the widow of James "Jimmy" Benfield and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by son Shane Benfield (Christy) of Sharon, SC, sister Betty Fuller of Stanley, NC, brother James Loggins of York, SC, and two grandsons, Cody and Jake Benfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cola Loggins, Margaret and Irby Wallace, and son Billy Joe Benfield.
