Marjorie McGill Choates, 81, of Clover passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 peacefully at her home.
Born in York County, Marjorie was a member of Unity Trinity AME Zion Church in Gastonia where she was involved with the Eastern Star. She was a retired textile worker and was a loving caretaker. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were very special to her.
Marjorie was the daughter of the late Ben McGill and Geneva Lowery McGill.
She is survived by her two daughters, Thears Choates, Wilhelmenia Choates, her two sons, Michael Choates, Eddie Choates, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
All services will be private.
