YORK -- Margie Roof Cornwell, 73, of York, passed away Thursday, October 01, 2015, at her home in York.
A visitation will be held at Central Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall, Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 4-6 P.M., and other times at the home. The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Central Baptist Church with Reverend Carey Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Margie was a daughter of the late Samuel Henry Roof and Mary Chandler Roof. She was the widow of Edward Otho Cornwell. Margie was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughter, Teresa Cornwell Baine, (Darryl) of York, SC, son, Tommy Henry Cornwell, (Tonya) of Fort Mill, SC, sister, Barney Stephens of York, SC, brother, Samuel William "SW" Roof of Clover, SC. and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Cornwell, and her son Kenneth Edward "Eddie" Cornwell.
