Margaret Blackwelder Parker, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at White Oak Manor in York.
The funeral will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Allen officiating. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Margaret was a daughter of the late Lewis Henry Blackwelder and Lillie Rose Blackwelder, and the widow of Henry David Parker. She was a member of Kings Mountain Chapel UMC.
Margaret is survived by her children, Denise Huffstetler of York, Cheryl Mulkey of Sharon, Judy Norris of York, David Parker of York, and Sherry Parker of York, brother Lewis Blackwelder of York, sisters, Renee Dover of Clover and Edith Ivey of Laurinburg, NC, 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by son Ronnie Parker.
