Obituary Notice
CLOVER – Margaret Thompson Martin, 86, of Clover, SC passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice and Community Care.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Midway Baptist Church of Clover with Preston Clinton officiating.
Margaret was born on August 21, 1934 in Gaston County, NC. She was the daughter of the late William Everette Thompson and Leitha Levinia Bridges. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church of Clover and the widow of John “Mason” Martin.
Margaret is survived by her children and their spouses; Judy and Pete Queen, Carolyn and Wes Clark, Dean and Sonya Martin, Jerry and Terry Martin, and Peggy and Shane Wood, brother, Bill Thompson (Jeanette), sister, Eula Mae Taylor, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers Roy Thompson, Wilford Thompson, Roger Thompson, and sister, Margie Bolin.
