Margaret "Joy" Hiott
Margaret “Joy” Daffin Hiott, 32, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in York with Rev. George Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the home, 7 Bratton Ave, York, SC, from 4 - 7 PM.
Born April 8, 1985, Joy was the daughter of Michael Achim Daffin and Jane Drake Daffin. In addition to her parents, Joy is survived by her husband, John Andrew Hiott, Jr., and her daughter Elizabeth Ruth Hiott.
Joy graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Upon graduation, Joy taught for the Rock Hill School District at India Hook Elementary. She has also taught Vacation Bible and Sunday School at First Presbyterian Church of York, SC, where she was a member.
