SHARON – Margaret Therese Stearn Cox, 56, of Sharon, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 peacefully at her home with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Sharon United Methodist Church (3001 Shannon Street, Sharon, SC 29742) with Rev. Donald Love officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service.
Margaret was born on October 3, 1964 in New Brunswick, NJ. She was the daughter of Robert Joseph Stearn and Barbara Anne Slaven Stearn. In addition to her parents, Margaret is survived by her son, Brice Andrew Cox, sister, Christina Wisdom (Kenneth, Sr.); brothers: Ross Stearn (Cathy), Rod Stearn (Catherine), Robert Jr. Stearn (Shaz), numerous nieces and nephews, and her former husband Joseph cox.
Margaret was an incredible mother, loyal friend, and irreplaceable part of the community. She was intelligent and witty, kind and patient, hardworking and tremendously creative, outgoing and determined, and full of love with a willingness to share her love to those who needed it. Those who were fortunate enough to know her understand the great loss that her passing is and how strongly missed she will be and those who didn’t have the chance will see the effects through the absence of the community’s greatest advocate.
