York – Margaret Walsh Cartwright, 79, of York passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
The funeral service will be at 2PM Monday, February 26, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Tom McPhail officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens following the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home one hour prior to the service from 1-2PM.
Born in Cleveland, OH, Margaret is the daughter of the late William Walsh and Mary Taylor Walsh. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 plus years, Leroy Frank Cartwright.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Lee Cartwright (Debra), Jeremy Cartwright (Jessica), daughter, Sharon Alley (CJ), brothers, William Walsh, Daniel Walsh, Robert Walsh, sister, Helen Ward, six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Cartwright, daughter, Karen Cartwright, brothers, Patrick Walsh, James Walsh, Michael Walsh, and sister, Carol Phillips.
