ROCK HILL – Lowry Christopher Russell, 49, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at his home in Rock Hill, SC.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York, with the Rev. Trey Doyle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Chris was the son of Frances Ramsey Russell and Lowry D. Russell (Jackie Russell). He was a graduate of Northwestern High School. He served in the Army National Guard as a tank commander. Chris was a skilled carpenter by profession, and was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.
He his survived by his parents, his daughter, Kristin Michelle Russell of Hattiesburg, MS, his sister, Melanie Russell Campbell of York, nephews, Reece Campbell (Ally) and their daughter Caroline, and Trent Campbell (Jenna).
