YORK -- Louise Ross Greene, 93, of York died Monday, January 20, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Louise was a daughter of the late Forrest Edgar Ross and Elsie Rumfeldt Ross. She was the widow of William C. Martin and Floyd Hopper, and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Martin of Hickory Grove, SC, son, Dean Martin of Smyrna, SC, sister, Pauline Boheler of Clover, SC, brother, Charles “Gene” Ross of Gastonia, NC, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by son, William "Billy" Martin, and daughter, Shirley Helton, and sister, Nell Chambers.
