Lois Smith YORK Lois Byrum Smith, 87, of 3176 Charlotte Hwy died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Bratton Funeral Home. The Rev. Eugene L. Feagin will be officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Lois Smith was a daughter of the late Harley and Mary Wade Byrum. She was the widow of John "JL" Smith. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the owner of Smiths Grocery. She is survived by son Reid Smith of York, SC, two brothers, Boyd "Smiley" Byrum of York, SC, and Jimmy Byrum of Clover, SC, two sisters, Elizabeth Parham of Clover, SC, and Carolyn Melton of Rock Hill, SC, one grandson, Ashley Smith of McConnells, SC, one granddaughter, Janet Broome of York, SC, and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 1-2 P.M.
