Linda Kay Elliott, 74, went to be with Jesus on June 24, 2017.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home following the service and other times at the home of brother, Eric Elliott, 1940 Meadow Road, York, SC.
Born August 1, 1942 in York, SC, Linda was the daughter of the late Harmon Jesse Elliott and Faye Reese Elliott.
She is survived by her husband Grier Hawkins, Jr., daughters, Kim Childers (Joey) and Chrissy Fetty, grandchildren, Alex Fetty (Alyssa), Dylan Fetty, Ashley Berel (BJ), Amy Westmoreland, Ryan Childers, Layla Cunningham (Richie), Michael Hawkins (Jessica), step daughter Tammy Hawkins, three brothers, Eric Elliott (Darlene), Doug Elliott (Debbie), David Elliott (Kaye), two sisters Susan Parrish (Phil), Tina Elliott, her best friend and cousin Betty Ann Michelle, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Ted Elliott and sisters Reba Elliott and Myra (Sissy) Dover.
