Lillian (Lilli) Elizabeth Beard, born November 9, 2000 went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2015 at 12:28PM. She was surrounded by much of her family including her loving parents, Rick and Kaari Knutsen Beard, and 13 year old brother, Mitchell, who were all holding her hands as she left her earthly family to be with her heavenly father. We are so blessed to have known such a loving, kind, and beautiful child for 15 wonderful years. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to many. Lilli meant everything to her family. The bond with her father, mother and brother could never be broken by death. She will live on in our hearts forever. She was always happy and smiling, even over the past two years as she battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and he blessed her everyday with so much strength. Lilli truly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed planning our family trips to Disney World and elsewhere. Disney World was her most favorite place in the world to be. She also loved planning our family get-togethers (her lifelong best friends since early childhood, Aisha and Autumn, were always invited). She cherished those moments to be with her most favorite people. She also adored her dog Baxter who will miss her so much. Lilli was an excellent student. She excelled academically in all subjects especially Math and English. She was also a talented artist. We will cherish the paintings, drawings and various things made with her beautiful gifted hands forever. She will be greatly missed by everyone. We are comforted with the knowledge that she is in heaven now with Jesus and three of her loving grandparents looking down on us smiling that beautiful angelic smile. We can’t wait until we see you again our Sweet Little Lilli. We love you so much.
The funeral will be 2PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in York with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Bratton Funeral Home from 6-8PM.
