Leon Bratton Mullis, 89, of York, passed away on Friday, January 06, 2017, at his home.
The funeral will be at Bratton Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2PM with Reverend Matthew James officiating. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home from 1-2PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Born in York, Leon was a son of the late Luther Justin Mullis and Lois Martin Mullis. He was a member Trinity Bible Church of Rock Hill, SC and served in the US Army Air Force.
Leon is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Falls Mullis, sons, Eddy Mullis (Jean), Stanley Mullis (Anna), daughter, Wanda Thickens (John), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin “Buck” Mullis, and sisters, Ruth M. Conley and Bonnie M. Roberts.
