Lena Mae Ramsey
SHARON -- Lena Mae Gibson Ramsey, 84, of 3136 Warmoth Ave passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Woodruff Manor in Woodruff.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Sharon United Methodist Church with Rev. Monica Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home in York from 6-8 P.M.
Lena was a daughter of the late Leroy Miles Gibson and Elizabeth Gregory Gibson. She was the widow of William Charles Ramsey. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and she worked 42 years at Celanese in Rock Hill, S.C.
She is survived by daughter Nancy Scronce of Sharon, SC, son Oscar Ramsey (Arlene) of Sharon, SC, 3 granddaughters Lisa Brown (Ryan), Kim Auten (Steve), Tonya Lemmons (Phillip), 1 grandson Lee Ramsey (Jennifer), 3 sisters Doris Inman of Sharon, SC, Azilee Ashe of Lockhart, Betty Ruth Horton of Lockhart, 2 brothers Marvin Gibson of Hickory Grove, SC, and Donald Gibson of Lockhart.
