Kenneth Cordell Carver, 74, of York passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care in Rock Hill, SC.
The funeral service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Sanctuary Hills Church of God of Prophecy with Reverend Barry Looper officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home from 6-8PM.
Born in Gaston County, NC, Kenneth was the son of the late Walter Carver and Clifford Williams Carver. Kenneth worked at Bowater where he served as Chief Shipper and he was a member of Sanctuary Hills Church of God of Prophecy.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Joyce Brown Carver, son, Billy Eugene Carver (Michelle), sisters, Shirley Kimble, Norma Sue Ramsey, Wanda Comer, grandchildren, Kristen Saldivar, Natalie Carver, and one great grandson, Dylan Saldivar.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Carver.
