YORK – Kenneth Reid Baucom, Sr., 78, of York passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Haven of Rest Baptist Church in York. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 3 PM at Haven of Rest Baptist Church, and other times at the home of granddaughter, Holly Brown, 517 Gilead Dr., York, SC.
Kenneth was a son of the late Huey Baucom and Carrie Long Baucom. He was a member of Haven of Rest Baptist Church and was the widower of Helen Hobbs Baucom.
He is survived by son Eddie Baucom of York, sister, Maxine Pressley of Indian Trail, NC, brother Wayne Baucom of Indian Trail, NC, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by sons, Dennis and Kenny Baucom and grandson Dustin Baucom.
