HICKORY GROVE -- Kathy Howe Smarr, 63, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Dunn officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
Kathy was a daughter of Thomas Howe, Sr. and Margaret Clinton Howe and she was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Howe, 2 daughters, Tracy Childers of Hickory Grove, SC, Ashley Smarr (Josh), son, Greg Childers (Amanda), brother, Tommy Howe (Barbara), 2 neices and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Smarr.
