Kathryn Anderson YORK -- Kathryn Stowe Anderson, 91, of York died Monday, January 7, 2013, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America with Pastor Wallace Tinsley and Pastor Dave Hall officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 10 - 11 AM at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America Fellowship Hall. A native of York, Kathryn was a daughter of the late Thomas S. Stowe and Pearl Dickson Stowe. She was the widow of John Royal Anderson. Kathryn was a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church in America where she was active in the women of the church, a member of the church choir, participated in the flower ministry, and taught Sunday school for many years. She was retired from Crest Stores in Charlotte, NC, and later spent her time volunteering and teaching young students to read at Jefferson Elementary School in York. She is survived by her sister, Susie Wallace of York, sister-in-law, Barbara Stowe of York, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
