Junie Lee Warner, 95 of Clover, transitioned from this life on Monday July 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday July 7, 2016 from 6-8:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home. Others wishing to pay their respects are invited to the home at 972 Sugar Hollow Road, Bowling Green, SC on Thursday around noon.
Junie was born June 30, 1921 to the late John Tyler Moore and Doshia Wood Moore of Buffalo Creek, NC. She was the widow of William (Bill) Monroe Warner. Junie was a former employee of Bowling Green Spinning Mill, where she made many lifelong friends. She was an avid gardener and seamtress, she enjoyed cooking and sewing for her large family of nine children.
She is survived by six children, Clarence Jerry Beverly, York, SC, Linda Beverly McCaslin, Newton, NC, Nancy Benton Ayers, of Clover, SC, Randal Gene Benton (Mary) Clover, SC, Roger Dale Benton (Tausha) of Bowling Green, SC, Joyce Benton-Bobo ( Gary) of Buffalo, SC, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Junie was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas Wilbur Benton, William (Billy) Monroe Warner II, Larry Don Beverly, two grandsons, Kenneth Wayne Beverly, Jerry Allen Beverly,Sr., six siblings, Rufus Wood, Doc Wood, Hilliard Wood, Lillian Wood Lanier and Essie Moore Coffee.
