York—Julia Kay Thomas Fowler, 70 passed away Thursday June 17, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center, in Rock Hill, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Bratton Funeral Home in York with Rev. Thomas B. McPhail officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
Julia Kay was born in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Richard Henry Thomas and Alma Lee Thomas and was the widow of Charles Michael Fowler.
Julia Kay is survived by her three sons, Gregory Todd Hammett, (Holly), Chad L. Hammett, (Jessica) and Michael Justin Fowler, three sisters, Joyce Taylor, Susan Hedden and Linda Thivener, her brother Richard Thomas, her grandchildren, Scott Hammett, Michael Hammett, Hope Hunter, Faith Hammett, Alyssa Carter, Trevor Carter, Ryan Carter and Zoie Starnes and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Cambria, Josie and Eli.
