YORK -- Joyce Swafford Hill, 74, of York, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at Rock Hill Acute Care in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Revs. Matt Burrell, Ray Talley, and Dusty Brackett officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 2-3 PM at Liberty Baptist Church.
Joyce was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in York, a sales associate with Monroe Wills' Jewelry Store, and a teacher’s assistant at York Junior High School.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Hill of York, SC, sons, Danny Hill (Teresa) of South Hampton, NJ, Michael Hill (Jennifer) of Corpus Christi, TX, brothers, Vance Swafford (Doris) of Gainesville, GA, Sherman Swafford (Reba) of Fallston, NC, and five grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by father Delmar Swafford, mother Gaynell Bridges Butler, and step father Marshall Butler.
