Joy Heard LAKE WYLIE Joy Mayhew Heard, 78, of 4 Pine Knoll Drive died Thursday, August 2, 2012, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Joy was a daughter of the late Frederick Allen Mayhew and Lucille Mitchell Mayhew. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. She is survived by her husband, Jack Heard of Lake Wylie, daughter Heidi Heard-Davis of Lake Wylie, and granddaughter, Caroline Davis of Lake Wylie.
