CLOVER -- Joshua Elam Pylant, 21, of 677 CE Stewart Road passed away Friday, February 12, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sam McGregor officiating. Burial will be at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church from 1:30 - 3:00 PM.
Josh was the son of JoAnne Elam Pylant and the late Gregory Keith Pylant. Josh loved his family, friends, and the outdoors, especially his time hunting and fishing. He was a member of Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, and worked for Price Brothers Plumbing in Charlotte.
He is survived by his mother JoAnne Elam Pylant of Clover, SC, aunts and uncles, Kelly Messer (Cory) of Lake Wylie, Will Elam (Tracey) of Baskerville, VA, Melanie Cody (Bill) of York, Kevin Pylant (Brandi) of Clover, paternal grandparents, Vernon and Shirley Pylant of Ridgeway, SC, maternal grandmother Esther Elam of Baskerville, VA, and cousins, Noah Messer, Garrett Cody, Keeley Pylant, Peyton Pylant, Nellie Pylant, George Elam III, and Amber Elam. In addition to his father, Josh was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gayle Morrow and George Elam Sr.
