Joseph Scalia YORK -- Joseph Patrick Scalia, 60, of 2186 Hord Road died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Hickory Grove Church of God with Rev. Mike Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Joseph was a son of the late Salvatore and Rita Arnone Scalia. He attended Hickory Grove Church of God and was a veteran of the US Army. . He is survived by his wife Joyce Childers Scalia of York, SC, sons, Tim Scalia of Pennsylvania, Joey Scalia of California, step sons, Pete Hamrick of York, SC, David Hamrick of York, SC, brother, Tom Scalia of Ohio, sisters, Toni Corrigan of Clover, SC, Anna Marie Mozdierz of Charlotte, NC, 8 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
