Obituary Notice John Burris SHARON John Walker Burris, 90, of 293 S. Burris Road passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at his home in Sharon. The funeral will be at11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 24, 2012, at Olivet Presbyterian Church.with the Rev. John McArthur and Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery. A native of Sharon, John was a son of the late John Pratt and Bell Hall Burris. He was a life long member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. John was a retired farmer and dairy farmer. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Roberts Burris of Sharon, and his daughter, Laura Burris Borland (Greg), granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Hensley, 2 step grandsons, Gregory and John Paul Borland, and great grandson, James Borland, and his sister, Rebecca B. Howell. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Mary B. Sadler, Emma B. Shillinglaw. Visitation will be held at Olivet Presbyterian Church, on Saturday November 24, 2012, from 10-11AM.
