Jimmy Dale Scoggins YORK Jimmy Dale Scoggins, 69, of York died Sunday, November 20, 2011, at White Oak Manor in York. A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Bratton Funeral Home. Rev. Mickey Totherow will be officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Mr. Scoggins was a son of the late Ernest and Emmaline Grooms Scoggins. He was a carpenter and was a veteran of the US Navy. . He is survived by children, Jimmy Dale Scoggins, Jr., Stephanie Scoggins Brown of Clover, SC, Chris Scoggins of York, SC, Bryan Scoggins of York, SC, three brothers, Johnny Scoggins of York, SC, William Scoggins of Blacksburg, SC, Ronnie Scoggins of Sharon, SC, sister Pat Childers of Kings Mountain, NC, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
