Jimmy Henry McClain, 72, of 2005 Sugar Hill Road passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Clover First Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 7-9:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York, and other times at the home of son, Jimmy McClain, 1991 Sugar Hill Road, York.
Jimmy was a son of the late Gary McClain and Lucille Hartis McClain. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Clover.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Byrum McClain of York, SC, son, Jimmy McClain of York, SC, 2 daughters, Sheila Dowd of York, SC, Heather McClain of Rock Hill, SC, 4 sisters, Patsy Aldridge of Fort Mill, SC, Gracie Blanchard of Fort Mill, SC, Ellen Warren of Fort Mill, SC, and Lucy Catoe of Rock Hill, SC., 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter Denise McClain, his brothers Jerry McClain, Duie McClain, Otis McClain, and sister Sylvia Pender.
