James “Jim” Thomas Miskelly, 85, passed away at home on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
The funeral will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Wednesday at the church.
Jim was a son of the late William G. Miskelly and Katie Garvin Miskelly, and was the widower of Betty Mitchell Miskelly. He was a member of Philadelphia UMC, a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the Philanthropic Masonic Lodge #32, and retired from Celanese.
Jim is survived by his children, Sandra Robbins (Blaine) of Hickory Grove, James T. “Buck” Miskelly Jr. (Mary) of York, and Cathy Miskelly of Hickory Grove, grandchildren, Jason Robbins, Justin Robbins (Lani), Katie Knight (Jamie), Jesse Miskelly (Tracy), Jay Yost, Ben Yost, and Bailey, and 5 great grandchildren.
