YORK – Jewell Tilley Brindle, 94, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Reverend Emily Sutton officiating.
Jewell was born on July 30, 1926 in Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late Luther Tilley and Niece Cochran Tilley. She was a member of Philadelphia UMC in York, SC.
Jewell is survived by her sister, Janette Thorton and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Brindle, five brothers and four sisters.
