ROCK HILL – Mr. Jesse A Greene, 89, of Rock Hill, went to be with his wife and Lord on Monday, August 3, 2015.
Born August 29, 1925 in Chesterfield, SC, Jesse was a son of the late Edward and Lucy Greene. He attended school at the Cedar Springs School for the Deaf and Blind in Spartanburg, SC. He was a member of Philadelphia U.M.C. in York and retired from Pneumafil Company in Charlotte in 1988.
He is survived by daughter Diane H Hines of Rock Hill, SC, son Arthur Greene of York, SC, four grandchildren, Stacy Hines of Rock Hill, SC, Carol White of Blacksburg, SC, Julie Greene and Ashley Greene of York, SC, six great grandchildren, sister Mary Fipps of Texas, brother Floyd Greene of Virginia, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York with Rev. Emily Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of daughter of Diane Hines, 105 Wisteria Lane, Rock Hill, SC (across street from Leslie Fire Department).
