Jerry Clemoth Thompson, 76, of Clover, SC passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC with the Reverend Mitch Bolin officiating.
Jerry was born on September 2, 1944 in York County, SC. He was the son of the late Grady Thompson and Essie Rippy Thompson. He retired as a welder from Westinghouse and was a veteran of the US ARMY. He was the widower of Nancy Norman Thompson and was a member of Bowling Green First Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Alice Broome of DuPont, WA, brothers, Jack Thompson (Sue) of Clover, SC, Jimmy Thompson (Gwen) of Smyrna, SC, great nieces, Carolina Spencer Thompson, Casey Alexis Thompson, great nephew, Hunter Austin Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Thompson.
